“Flower power” has been going strong in these recent years and we can expect to see more in 2013 Spring/Summer.
If you’re looking to try adding some colours to your neutral wardrobe, or simply wanted to spice up your personal style and try something new, consider adding some floral prints into your collection.
Personally, floral wasn’t what I’d usually wear, but I started to embrace the trend after I discovered the Givenchy White Birds of Paradise:

A floral top + a simple bottom = Très chic! :)
Floral trend isn’t necessarily about big prints and bold colours. The style, patterns and colour of floral print is really depending on your personal taste.
If you’re just starting out and don’t want to overdo the floral trend (some men are shy with floral,) I’d personally recommend to try floral prints with softer colours and smaller graphics. They are not that attention-seeking, easier to dress and to match with the rest of your staples.
When it comes to mix-and-match with busy design, it is best to keep other parts of your attire neutral. For example, if you’re wearing a floral top, it’s best to pair it with a less busy bottom. #LessonLearned
