I’ve been looking for jobs since two weeks ago, but still, I’m not settled down with one. I got all restless when I noticed some people starting to work. Especially those who’ve made early indication of not going to work that soon through words-of-mouth
I thought I was the one who’d be the first one to get paycheck. But now I hope I’d not be the last one.
Well being the first or the last doesn’t make any difference anyway. But some people think that has to do with the person’s ability. Haha. I’m so tight up with this kinda traditional thinking in my sub-conscious
I used to think that I’m too choosy. But then after I was showered with quite a number of interviews, I realised that I’m not without target or purpose, and certainly I’m not picky. I’m just searching for the job that i like, in terms of its job scope [e.g. web developing with graphical works] and location [the nearer, the better!].
Only now I realised that salary isn’t very important. In fact, I was being deluded by a friend of mine, saying the reverse. Well… i think that depends.
Yesterday I went to Hilton Hotel in PJ for a presentation. It’s been a mediocre experience, except the blueberry cheese cakes during the refreshment
I took some photos but I don’t know why blogger just couldn’t make them onto here. ERRRGGGG! My dial-up sure has a thing with this
I’m counting on the streamyx technicians right now.
Maybe I’m too young and have no enough credits to give this comment, but i think Streamyx and other ISPs definitely have a few bungalows [not rooms anymore] for improvement.
I replaced my aunt for a few hours at my dad’s workshop. Well honestly i don’t like to go there ever since I was a kid because I really don’t have any interest in engines, and most importantly, I know I’m not good in, and have no talent when it comes to repairing them. And maybe because of that, I got all the scolding all the time -_-
Not that I’m discriminating the job as a mechanic, but i think there should be a better way to test the tube head besides using our own saliva. Hehe. Until today I still don’t know how to do it because I don’t know how to spit ! [I really mean it! o_0 Why is it so easy for you to spit?? I only know how to puke...]
For that few hours, me and my dad actually had a very long conversation. Well i think it’s like very long that as far as I know, it’s the longest we’ve ever had
It’s kinda weird though… Where the gap between us has gone? Maybe he’s FINALLY found out that I’ve long been able to turn myself into a father and another girl into a mother
My dad’s working. He’s going to be bald very soon
Relationships really change with time~
[Ha! I sound so old]
Is my house too kampung that you streamyx guys couldn’t find the right telephone line and the correct port colour to make my modem’s DSL light on? Just make it on, ok ?!! [at least in some ways *rolling eyes*]
The light is not blinking! Not even once~!!
I couldn’t believe it when my cousin told me that I’ll have to wait for a month [Yes, a month!] to get all the things done. And before that, I’ll have to pick up a phone and call their customer service for countless times, and probably need to send email to claim my first month of access fees! [Why was I so stupid to believe that I can start online effortlessly right after I've activated my account???]
See when I registered. And I’m now using dial-up to write this post
The DSL modem + router I bought from TMPoint. RM140.
[Some people must be complaining my 'unhealthy' buying behaviour, right now hehe. But I just wanna get everything done in a step]
I don’t know how those TMNet people do their job. Probably all ISPs in Malaysia are the same. I actually called the Customer Service a few days ago, and I was surprised.
Me: “[bla bla bla]… that’s my problem.”
He: “Why you activate your account when there’s no DSL light?”
Me: “Ha??? Because…NOONE TOLD ME ABOUT THAT~!!!”
He: “[laughing]…I see…”
Why they never told me, or at least, advised me about that???
Why are they holding back that important piece of info??
I was made stupid at that moment [suddenly, i feel angry right now].
I went for an interview yesterday in a Japanese factory. One of my aunt used to work there before, but she resigned because of some internal political issues in her department, apparently. Anyway, it’s not going to affect me If I were to work there.
It’s easy to find the location
Nichicon (M’sia) is one of the branches of Nichicon (Japan)–a company that produce electronic components for machines. As for the branch in M’sia, the main product is aluminum electrolytic capacitors.
Quite a huge factory
The interview was so-so, and I asked for a week for me to think about it. The guy, Peter was quite reluctant to give me time, and he insisted on me making the decision on the spot. In the end, I won. Haha!
Peter: “A lot of young people are like you….want to compare jobs….ok la… I can’t force you also…but if the vacancies are full, then I’m sorry…”
Sometimes we just have to let people down for our own good
After the interview, me & my aunt went for some food and a ‘small-scale’ shopping.
