Auntie: “Are you feeling excited or happy or nervous right now? You’re going to attend your convocation tomorrow!”

Me: “Hm… not really. I think I’m just going there to collect a piece of paper. A simple procedure which will be accompanied by more than eleven family members of mine -_- The thing is, only 2 persons can get into the hall.”

Auntie: “*rolling eyes* Ok… maybe it’s not very important for you -_- But it means a lot to us lo…It’s ok if we just stand outside of the hall waiting for you to come out ”

Me: “…”

I thought it’s just a simple procedure. Well, in fact it’s actually quite simple, except that I have to apply leave to physically go to the campus to collect and to return the gown and stuffs -_-

Is there any other better or simplier way to do it? E.g collecting the attire right before the convocation and returning it right after the convocation and after photo session on the same day? Like, everything in one day? Hm…

Anyway, it’s not like I’m going to have convo everday So i guess things just worked fine and the whole thing has been very nicely planned and monitored. The most important thing is, I got my certificate in the end

[Then why should I bother to think so much on how to plan the convocation? *a punch to my left eye*]

I actually got kinda excited and happy when we (the graduands) walked into the hall at the start of the event. The background music for the entrance just happened to make me felt so proud like I’ve just won an Oscar or somethin [haha they picked the right song ]. My teeth kept showing themselves whenever they detected flashes from the cameras. See my teeth shining? We really don’t know when the insignificant works we do everyday will finally pay off. Thanks god I’ve been using my Darlie.

When I got my certificate, I thought that it might as well be appropriate for me to bestow some significant people in my life with bachelor degrees:

Too bad not all people in my family could accept this honour given by me because they seemed couldn’t get through themselves to put my mortar board on their heads for like 2 seconds [Dad: "Lu siao liao a?"]

Oh how could I forget my cute cousin. I think she likes sunflower a lot. She decided to take that bunch of sunflower back from me after she gave me as a gift for my convocation -_-

No, no – my eye ache wasn’t caused by my blog’s design, nor Uncle John’s peculiar behaviour of wandering in his house wearing only a piece of overrated hideous garment (he calls that an underwear? oh my) to flash his limbs just to teach me what’s called “flabby”. Trust me.

My eyes have not been getting enough sleep? ["Sleep" and "rest" are two very different thing, mind you]

Well that’s my guess.

This blog has been [and is] undergoing a minor redesign and I suspected that the process will end only when my eye ache seems less health-threatening.

Apparently I design better when I’m suffering from eye ache.

Oh no don’t take me as an “alien” for that. When I first encountered them a few years ago, I thought it’s weird. But maybe because of the media and the growing popularity of the trend, I started to accept the fact that some girls just like to do it. I even found myself like watching the segment featuring cute taiwanese girls in the infamous Taiwanese show Guess Guess Guess!

[I always think that only dumb people will be deluded by the media. Haha. Ok I'm dumb. but that's not the point]

So, the point is, why they like to act cute?

Because guys like it that way?

Ya. Probably. Some guys like it. Maybe taiwanese guys and japanese guys. I don’t know.

If she’s japanese, then it’s fine. Because that’s their culture.

If she’s born like that and her cuteness is natural, well that’s ok. [I thought only babies have natural cuteness]

If she just want to dress in kawaii style, but she’s never tried to be someone who she’s not, well that’s ok.

We actually planned to buy an Ice-cream cake from the Angel Cake House as our supper but then unexpectedly, the cakes were all sold out AGAIN -_-
It’s the second time we were disappointed! So unlucky

I wonder if the ice-cream type was really selling like hot cakes.
Well guess that shouldn’t happen because ice-cream cake are supposed to be cold

So, we went to McDonald to find a “replacement”. We were having a hard time making our ice-cream order then, even though there are only 2 types of ice-cream: McFlurry and Sundae. Since my aunties didn’t really know the differences between two, plus, with the limited experience of that new staff, we had to spend quite some time before we got our 3 chocolate + 2 strawberry sundae cups and 1 sundae cone.

The staff: “Ok. So you want 5 sundae cups. The flavour of the topping? Chocolate or Strawberry?”
Me: “Hm… No. I don’t want topping.”
[Old folks like my grandma don't really like sweet toppings]
The staff: “Sorry. You have to have the toppings. You have to choose one.“
Me: “Wha…?“

Suddenly it struck my head that there are ONLY 2 options for sundae cup.
But gosh~~~
I have to choose one also even though I just want it plain???

My God…
You are supposed to fulfil our needs, not your menu!!!

Weird staff. Really.

Guys only fight for their pride, not for the beauties? Or…

I noticed a new chocolate shop situated right beside PKNS Bangi.
I went in with little knowing that I’d find something really interesting there:

Get a bite of chocolate bar and then stuff a handful of potato chips into your mouth.

Imagine the taste of potato chips coated with chocolate.

It might sound weird. But trust me, Beryl’s and I think that’d sell – it’s yummy~!

“Remember to treat me when you get your first salary, ok?”

“Ok. But… why do we have to treat people when we get our first salary? Is that a tradition or something?”

“I don’t know. You just have to do that… It’s like that one ma! Everybody’s doing it…”
