Achievement Schedule
I almost forgot that I’ve made MeiMei a promise yesterday
Well, it all started when she told me about the 24 things Kenny did when he was twenty four which has sparkled an idea in her to follow suit on her blog.
I thought it was a great idea until I realised that there actually isn’t much things under my belt even at the age of 22 [I mean, do I even need a belt to keep them?].
The same thing goes to her and she sighed while telling me the relative big gap between her and Kenny. I tried to console her saying that we can’t actually do this kinda comparison with other people because everybody is different, but I think my words weren’t convincing enough as I know I thought the same thing about myself too -_-
Seriously, life is miserable with such kinda comparison.
It makes you feel like you’re constantly way behind something. Like you’re living your life too slow that you’re missing a lot of fun and etc. That kinda thing really makes me feel like I’m behind a schedule. And I’m telling you that there’s actually a schedule for that. A schedule which everybody is following without realising it – I call it “the achievement schedule“.
Basically it’s a self-built schedule that tells you what you’re expected to have and own by a certain age.
Like for example, I read about Kenny sponsored a World Vision child at 24, and then my brain will go like “wow he already can sponsor a dono-who at just 24! Look at yourself. What have you done?” and then my brain will automatically adjust the schedule to tell that I should be able to do the same when I turn 24.
Or maybe I read a fashion magazine and then I see this 22-year-old young male model gracing the cover of it, and my brain go like “Wow he’s the same age as you and now he’s on the cover!” and then my achievement schedule will be adjusted to tell that I’m simply behind the schedule because other people have already done more stuffs than me at the same age.
So, basically the conclusion is that humans are good at making themselves feel miserable -_-
Ok. Back to the list.
Instead of writing about the things I’ve done [i think I always do that on my blog, right? no?], me and MeiMei finally decided that writing about our targets and goals is a good idea
When I told MeiMei my targets and goals are actually in the form of just a wish list, she went (-_-) and I could see she wasn’t very impressed. hehe
To be honest, I’m actually a person without much motivation except living on a wish list. Well probably the list is just for now, or maybe…. but we don’t know what will happen in the future, right?
Oh shit i’m so sleepy.
Wish list? Maybe later…
Good night.
Facade
I don’t know what they are thinking.
Personally, I think it’s quite sad when you have to rely on other people to help you keeping track of and watching over your sigoth – like how it works between the spy and the suspect in the movies.
With the newspaper high up in your hands, you pretend like you’re reading it but in fact, you’ve already burnt 2 little holes on that newspaper so that you can see through them and keep an eye on what he/she is doing.
When you need something like that, you should know that your relationship with your sigoth has become really really fragile. You don’t even trust him/her ok -_-
Is that one of the ways to maintain a relationship?
Baby’s Laughter is the best medicine
In the middle of the day, I found this to be very energizing:
It makes me laugh, and it’s just contagious!!
I think there must be something special about baby’s laughter.
Hmm… at least it’s as funny as looking at people get smacked with pieces of char siew.
Bhuaha!
Flirting in your office

“No matter how happily a woman may be married, it always pleases her to discover that there is a nice man who wishes that she were not.” – H. L. Mencken
So, that’s why women flirt? Hmm…
PizzaHut
After the war, peace finally arrived
Like I said, war and peace are always walking side-by-side, and they alternate once in awhile. Just remember that the good will come in time when you’re in a bad situation.
So, today is pizza-hut night

I’m sure we’re still the record-holder for “the highest number of tables occupied by a family client”. Ha!
Anyway, with the help of our camera, I think I finally lost it in the car [-_-] :

No. I think we all lost it.
More pictures on my flickr.
When I’m in office…

The coming best thing in the morning is lunch time, and the coming best thing in the afternoon is bed time.

War of our life
There’s no Sunday morning session today because a war just took place in my house (-_-)
I mean, it’s more than just the Second Gulf War, yet not to the extend of Iraq War.
[Well well... if you understand what I mean]
Really don’t know how to tell you how bad it went. (o_0)
Maybe some pictures will help:

Our neighbors saw it and were freaked out and they ran away
Sigh~
The rest I don’t even bother to tell…
p.s.: check out Doodie because it’s damn disgustingly funny aha!
