I was in the bath room, and for one moment in my life I resented the fact that I’m 24.

Since when I have a M shape hairline?
I like to have Randy to come out with new idea for my hair every time I visit him. I think it’s kind of lucky to have met a hairstylist who’s adventurous enough and willing to do “experiments” on me.

That made me recalled:
“What’s the difference between Jesus and Buddha?”
“耶稣和如来佛祖的差别在哪里?”
|
“Hmm… One is westerner, and the latter is Easterner?”
“恩⋯⋯ 一个是东方人,一个是西方人?”

“No. It’s obvious that Jesus has big curls, and Buddha has small curls.”
“不对。很明显地,耶稣是大卷,如来佛祖是小卷。”

Sometimes, it’s difficult to see what makes a thing more important than the other.
Family Tie vs Friendship?
It’s totally subjective, I think. Any fight started from it is totally pointless, because different people have different standards. Most people blame their upbringing for the decision they’re going to make.
I blame the disappointment I’ve seen too much in my family. So I opted for Friendship until the alarm went off.
Sometimes I wonder why I have to give up on other things for the thing that already disappointed me a few times. To my surprise, my natural instinct to care, is now only half as strong as when I was 12. The passion for re-building or maybe cherishing family-ship is no where to be found – not even under my carpet.
“麻木” is the word of the day.
But still. Family is family.
Small issues that I thought were insignificant are apparently making me a relatively less filial in the eyes of the others. Thus the fights with those who are relatively more filial than me.
Stupid. Hate to be associated with the word “ignorance”. Hah.
It’s time to rethink your priority.
p.s: Hope grandma is going to be fine.
Note:
- Egg Salads is a good choice of breakfast. Gonna try it more often.
- Remember to put your wallet in your bag instead of back pocket of your pants because it’s really easy for anybody to just pick it.
- Love is in the air?
Got back from Tioman on Monday. I remembered going to bed at 2am. Tired!
Really worth it for being able to meet up with old friends and play and all.
Tioman Trip 30th April 2009 – 3rd May 2009

Arrived in Mersing from KL by bus. It’s around 4am in the morning and a bunch of sleepy ghosts wandering around looking for hotel. Too bad they were all full.
*Note: A lot of Mat Rempit in Mersing.

No hotel? The best solution: yam cha till the break of dawn.

“Sunrise. sunrise. Looks like morning in your eyes.”

AH Hock 自恋 King.

We spent quite some time sleeping on-and-off. Yea, with that pose.

We spent time taking photos of the “nature” as well.

Times boarding for boats at jetty.

Tioman Paya Beach Resort was our choice of accommodation.

The wooden bridges looked a little fragile.

There’s a Rock Fall near Paya Resort. It’s so damn cold, the water.

We played Beach Volleyball. My hands are still with bruises. Ouch.

Heart-warming dinners & BBQ

Our room got so smelly because of somebody kept farting in the room. Seriously, why some people have so much farts one ha? Yer…

Complete with breakfast.

We’re walking most of the time. That’s us going to beach.

It’s hot. And I like it.

We took a series of “Lost”-themed photos. Heh, not bad. But they are not with me now.
We went snorkeling on the second day, and it’s my first time snorkeling. It’s fun!
I don’t know how to swim at all, but it didn’t freak me out much. All thanks to the floating life jacket.
And, and, I saw turtle! A real-life one right in front of me! Too bad it went away too fast that only me and Eddy were able to notice it. Apparently it’s difficult to see one in Tioman, and I swear I wasn’t hallucinating.
Sigh. It’s a trip too good to be fitted into 3-day holiday plan. Probably a week will be great.
More photos later. Maybe.
