2009

Clock

Clock

I just bought a new clock. New Year is coming and I suddenly felt like i need proper clock in my room. (I’ve always been relying on my phone’s clock.)

Maybe it’s just my vague idea to want to complete my room. Haha.

Suprised to know that sis said this is the kind of design that suits my personality, when I wanted to choose the colour-changing LED cube clock.

When people are to accustomed to one thing, they’ll not likely to expect changes. So there’s always a difference between how you see yourself and how people see you?

Happy New Year.

ps.: Merry Belated Christmas Hah

Tapping Pass 1956

Around 50 years ago, when Malaysia was still referred to as Malaya, grandma worked as a rubber tapper. A tapping pass was issued for her by the British.

Phew~

I’ve been busy doing office work in the past few days. It’s public holiday damn it but well… there’s a weird commitment in me to always wanting make sure I project the image of a best great staff – I think that’s the problem with me. Is my self-requirement too high or I’m just plain ignorance? (The older salarymen: why you work so hard? You can’t claim OT with that you know…)

That’s will power, my friend. (I wonder if I’d say the same thing in 2019.)
Anyway, I think that will power is important. Maybe that’s why I don’t hate my job and go around telling people about that?

Trying to squeeze some time for another rather personal project. Project sounds really serious so I shall call it an experiment: I’m to partner with a friend for a mini experience on business. Didn’t really get time in the past one week though. Feeling guilty (for what?) so I’m hoping my partner will forget it until I’ve finally done my part and showed some works. Hehe. Ok. This week. It has to be this week.

I’m watching this very insightful taiwanese drama named It’s one quality drama. Some quotes and dialogues are hilarious and meaningful. Unforgettable.

Hahaha! Sounds funny but it’s a fact though. Most of the facts in our life are funny, anyway.

It’s been a while since I last wrote in such a personal personal tone.

Good night.

Make sure you keep your body as slim and as light as possible when you’re old. So that your children can easily carry you around when you’re sick.

Even the board is made of glass.

Anything made of glass is always sparkling attractive to me. Wee.

Our Contradictory

“We’re in such a hurry tp grow up, and then we long for our lost childhood. we make ourselves ill earning money, and then spend all our money on getting well again. We think so much about the future that we neglect the present, thus experience neither the present nor the future. We live as if we were never going to die, and die as if we had never lived.”
