New Bin

The story surrounds Cannes Film Festival, and the flock of people who worship the annual event for the opportunities and fortunes – the “golden chance” – they thought accessible and could be a part of. As far as they know, this fortune game is backed by a group of higher level called the Super-Class.
The main attraction of the story is on how the author detailed the life and the works of the group of people we rarely have knowledge of (unless we’re one of them): the film-makers, the distributors, the models, the actors and actresses, the fashion designers.
It’s only through the book that I learnt the real-deal behind those glamourous professions. The author reveals the true life of the distorted images we see on TV and magazines everyday: their desperation, their goals and their actual values.
Models are always eagerly looking for chances to show that they have talents in other fields except being a mannequin. Entering into the acting scene would always be their dreams. For female models, otherwise, getting a rich husband is another best option.
Actors and actresses always struggle with fame and power. They always want to make sure they’re in the limelights with the right people. They are afraid of losing them.
Older female actresses depressed by their age and, age indirectly affects their values.
The distributors are the one taking the biggest piece of the cake. Famed directors and producers are not as profitable as we always thought. The poor nonetheless, are the important script-writers or authors (they are important because the movies are normally based on their ideas).
It’s a good book that gives you a better idea on what’s behind the TV screen and magazine covers.
I just bought a new clock. New Year is coming and I suddenly felt like i need proper clock in my room. (I’ve always been relying on my phone’s clock.)
Maybe it’s just my vague idea to want to complete my room. Haha.
Suprised to know that sis said this is the kind of design that suits my personality, when I wanted to choose the colour-changing LED cube clock.
When people are to accustomed to one thing, they’ll not likely to expect changes. So there’s always a difference between how you see yourself and how people see you?
Happy New Year.
ps.: Merry Belated Christmas Hah
A set is there at the dining court.
Even the board is made of glass.
Anything made of glass is always sparkling attractive to me. Wee.
“Last week the candle factory burned down. Everyone just stood around and sang Happy Birthday.”
Our favourite food are always foreign food.
Eg. white people will say their favourite is japanese food and chinese will say korean or steak or thai.
Milk Magazine is the bible for malaysian chinese-educated graphic designers and scenester?
